Maynooth Educate Together held a public meeting in NUIM to provide information about the proposed new school and also to hold a public launch of the pre-enrollment list. The meeting was very well attended and included local and national representatives.

Gerry McKevitt of Educate Together chaired the meeting which consisted of a short presentation followed by a Questions & Answers session. Many parents in attendance had queries regarding the structure of Educate Together as well as specific questions regarding the initiative in Maynooth. It was confirmed at the meeting that the Minister had applied for permission for a new National School at Rail Park on the Celbridge Road.

Following the meeting pre-enrolment commenced with over 50 children pre-enrolled. Enrolment is ongoing for all years up to 2013. Contact the Pre-enrolment Officer for more information.
