For the first time since the opening of our school, the Parents' Association is organising a Family Fun Day to be held on Sunday 19th June 2011 from 2pm to 5pm. This is a fundraising event for the school but also an opportunity for the families to get together and have fun!

On the day there will be a cake and coffee sale, a BBQ stall, face painting, a penalty shoot-out competition, a recycling workshop, storytelling, fun races, a second-hand sale, a teddy & bottle tombola, a wet sponge stoke game, a raffle, and loads more fun activities!

What we are looking for from parents is: gazebos, tables, (for the day), good quality second-hand toys, books and bric-a-brac (please do not donate anything that you would not be happy to take home yourself), teddies (for the tombola), bottles (wine and/or anything fun like shampoo, perfume, etc.), cakes (on the day) and recycling material (plastic bottles, kitchen roll tubes, glass jars, fabric, beads, etc.). Please drop all items in the Parents' Room.

Also, we are looking for raffle prizes or contacts of people you know who could donate prizes.

We are looking for volunteers to help out on the day to help set up stalls and clear up at the end of day. We are still looking for people to do face-painting and story-telling. Please contact Adrienne Flynn at FunDay2011@maynoothet.ie if you are able to give a few hours of your time. Thank you.
