On the 31st January, 2008 an application was made by Educate Together to the New Schools Advisory Board of the Department of Education and Science (DES) with regard to opening a new National School in Maynooth. This application was supported by details of pre-enrolment figures, many of which were obtained at the Public Meeting held in NUIM on the 26th January.

The application is currently under review and we hope to receive a decision from the Minister in early April. This article will be updated with any new information as we receive it.
