On Tuesday 1st of September 2009 Maynooth Educate Together N.S, opened its doors to a new group of Junior Infant Children. Elaine will have the pleasure of teaching this years newest and brightest stars. The class of 14 children are already proving to be a great addition to the school community.

The Parents/Guardians of the new Junior Infant class were give an oppertunity to get to know each other during a tea/coffee morning, organised by the Parents Association. A big welcome to the new  Junior Infants and their Parents/Guardians.

On Friday the 5th June 2009, the children went on their School Trip to Fort Lucan. There was great excitement in the days prior to the Trip. On Friday morning the noise volume was a little louder and the children could hardly wait for the arrival of the bus. A great cheer greeted went up when the bus arrived through the school gates. 

On arrival in Fort Lucan the children were wide eyed with anticipation of the fun about to begin. After a quick brief from the staff, the children were allowed to explore Fort Lucan. Slides, zip-lines, mazes, go-karts and crazy golf to name a few of their favorites.

Lunch was very quick that day as the children were very eager to get back to play. There was great sense of co-operation, sharing and friendship displayed by the children on the day.
