Elections Board of Managment

Elections for the Parents Representative (Male) on the Board of Managment will take place on Thursday 4th March 2010 following the General Meeting. The Board of Managment would like to thank Steven McCarthy for his time served on the BOM of Maynooth Educate Together and previously for his work with the start up group of MET.

Information about the Elections & Procedures has been sent home in your child's school bag. Please read the information carefully.

 

Mid Term Break

Maynooth Educate Together will close from Monday 15th February to Friday 19th February for the Mid Term Break.

The school will re-open on Monday 22nd of February 2010.

Country of the month: February

During the month of February we will be celebrating China as our Country of the Month.

One of our parents will be visiting the school to teach us about Chinese food and Chinese New Year.  This year Chinese New Year will be celebrated on 14th of February and 2010 is the year of the tiger.

CALLING ALL PARENTS / GUARDIANS

SPECIAL MEETING to organize the schools involvement in the St Patrick’s Day Parade

We need you to help with the following:

  • Make a banner / make flags
  • Make plans for music
  • Put together costumes
  • Work alongside the school staff and the Parents Association
  • Organize the children’s participation in the parade

We need your energy for only a few weeks and it will be fun. You can work with us to raise the profile of the school and engage with the local community.
