School Building & Materials Building work is contining on the school. We have been told that
we should receive the keys to the building during the third week in
August. Once that happens there will be plenty of work to do getting in
materials, furniture, decoration, office equipment, class resources
etc. 12th August, 2008
If you think you will be able to help over the last weekends of August please contact us on 086 053 6700 or 085 72 75 711 or from our contact page above. Alternately, if you have any materials/equipment that may be of use in the classrooms let us know. With this announcement and the hoped-for vote in favour of the Material Contravention next week, the work is now just beginning for Maynooth Educate Together. We will also be organising an information and social event for parents of enrolled children in the near future. Information on this will be sent out closer to the time. If you feel you can help in any way be sure to contact us. There will be plenty to do to open our children's new school this September. Material Contravention Required
April

Planning permission for the site at Rail Park requires a Material Contravention of the Local Area Plan due to the land being zoned agricultural. The Planning Report recommends that the Planning Authority support this material contravention. Closing date for objections is 8th April and a decision is due from the Council on the 5th May. A material contravention requires a vote of the councillors so please contact your local representative and lend your support to a 'Yes' vote.
